Senior vice president and general manager of the Honda division Jeff Conrad says, "Honda continues to fortify its light-truck lineup in 2015, this time turning our eye to the fast-growing family SUV segment. The new Pilot will raise the bar in a segment it helped to create, with more innovation, style, premium features and family utility than ever before."

Along with the 2016 Pilot, Honda is also planning to report the current development status of the Ridgeline truck on the upcoming Chicago Auto Show, according to Carxmotor.

Honda has not released much information about the Ridgeline. The Ridgeline was first released on 2005, unfortunately due to decreasing market sales production was stopped at the latter part of 2014, according to Autoblog.

Honda's luxury car division, Acura, is also set to unveil the 2016 Acura RDX at the Chicago show. The Acura RDX is a luxury car modeled on the Honda CR-V and was first released on 2006. A second-generation RDX was released on 2013.
