"Metal Gear Online" fans should smile as Konami recently announced that the upcoming DLC will be incorporating some fresh component to "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," set to intensify the game more.

According to IGN, the unavoidable DLC update will additionally come with three new maps and a new game mode. The three maps are referred to as Azure Mountain, Rust Palace, and Coral Compound.

The publication as well revealed that the new DLC will add new sets of custom combinable animations called appeal actions. As a result, gamers will get some great dance moves and tough poses.

The new DLC will arrive in March, but more details will come on Monday, Feb. 8 besides a recap of the new DLC info and more.

Apart from the new maps, a special playable character is confirmed to come and it is none other than a bikini-clad sniper called Quiet.


Quiet is a seemingly super powerful fighter who uses his Butterfly sniper rifle in war, besides having the ability to cloak herself, according to Xbox Achievements.

Quiet will seeming feature as a major aspect of a paid DLC add-on for the game, that apparently comes with the reported three maps and a new emotes called "Appeal Actions."

However, fans should note that the mentioned components are just the tip of the iceberg.

Recent news unveiled that fans will not wait for long since "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" DLC is slated for a March launch. However, there was no specific date revealed concerning the release of the game.

On the other hand, Konami will also give free increments to fascinate most of the players. The increments include the new Survival Mode similar to the one in the game's precursor, "Metal Gear Solid IV," and a new ranking system that will depend on the skill of the players.
