The improvements include Monkey D. Luffy having the ability to use any Haki on his command, or Zoro using many swords and sword styles.

Following the game's launch in Japan on March 26, 2015 and then in Western regions on Aug. 25, 2015, "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" has now garnered 380,000 units in Japan and 200,000 units in Asia.

The third installment in the franchise has seemingly unique and spectacular features as compared to its precursors. One of the features is the Kizuna Rush, which allows gamers to summon up to four other characters (gamers) to join the war and subsequently, can perform various combination attacks.

Apart from the basic story mode, the game also includes a "Dream Log" mode, whereby characters and items are unveiled and unlocked, as the player continues through the mode's battle.

Contrary to the second installment, "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" sets off with a storyline of "One Piece" that is set in East Blue, the New World, and the Grand Line.
