On the Oct. 19, 2014 episode of Oprah Winfrey's "Where Are They Now" special on the OWN channel, the 22-year-old "Glee" alum and "Pyramid" hit maker talked about the rumors that she slashed her wrist in an attempt to take her own life.

Charice was already enjoying an international fame as a singer when she decided to come out as gay.

"I just want to share my story to help other people out there who have a similar situation to mine, about being gay," she told Oprah adding she was five when she realized she was gay.

For Charice, transitioning into a man is not something she is planning to do as her "soul is male" but she is not going to change everything.
