"Shadowhunters" Season 1, episode 6 - synopsis
"With Luke in dire need of help, Jace, Clary and Simon take him to Magnus' lair in hopes of saving his life. Once there, the story of how Valentine came to be evil, and Jocelyn and Luke's past is revealed to Clary in hopes of triggering her memory of what happened to The Mortal Cup.
Meanwhile, Isabelle and Alec are tasked to restore their family name in the eyes of The Clave," reads the synopsis.

In the promo trailer, Jace, Clary and Simon take Luke to Magnus. Luke's life is hanging in the middle as Magnus tries to revive him.
Magnus tells that the poison is spreading in Luke's body. Meanwhile, tension is mounting between Simon and Jace. Towards the end of the promo, Clary wonders how come her mom and Luke be a part of something like this.
Meanwhile, Sherrilyn Kenyon, author of "Dark Hunter" has filed a lawsuit against Cassandra Clare, a YA novelist for reportedly "copyright infringement" and other charges.
Clare is behind the "Shadowhunters" franchise and Kenyon has accused her of thematic similarities.
"Both the Dark Hunter series and the Shadowhunter series are about an elite band of warriors that must protect the human world from the unseen paranormal threat that seeks to destroy humans as they go about their daily lives. These hunters, whether 'dark' or 'shadow,' preserve the balance between good and evil, protecting humans from being consumed or enslaved," reads the suit (via The Mary Sue).
Moreover, the suit also states that the symbol of "Shadowhunters" on the covers of books and promotional materials is a "simplified version of PLAINTIFF's Dark-Hunter symbol."
