Good news to all "Attack on Titan" fanatics, the upcoming manga-based game, which is expected to be released on Feb. 18, will come shortly in the west after Japan launch. To give fans a little treat, Koei Tecmo released a new "Attack on Titan" gameplay video and announced that they will be introducing a free post-release update to get "AOT" game a lot more exciting.

Fans are now in rave since the developing studio already announced a possible update for the game, even though "Attack on Titan" is yet to be released and played. The said update will introduce an online four-player cooperative mode, which is also said to possibly support cross-platform play.

Moreover, "Attack on Titan," which will be released on PS Vita, PS3 and PS4, will also get a separate game update on March 24, Anime News Network reported. The separate update will feature additional 10 items to the game that includes new titans, weapons and costumes.

Here's some information about "Attack on Titan's" upcoming update and release date:

Feb. 18 - "Attack on Titan" will get additional "New Year's" costume

Feb. 25 - "Terms of Trade" episode plus 2 other episode, additional "Festival" costumes

March 3 - "Iron Wall" episode plus 2 other episodes, additional "Halloween" costumes

March 10 - "Competition for Survival" episodes plus additional 2 episodes, to add "Christmas" costume and weapon

March 17 - Additional episodes (total of 9) additional set of weapons (total of 4) and set of additional costumes (total of 16)

March 24 - this is where the major update will be introduced. Will add online co-op play that supports up to 4 players, adds 10 more items that include Titan decorations

In terms of bundles and packages of "Attack on Titan," it is said that the retail price of the regular package editions for PS3 and PS4 will be US$63 (7,800 Yen), while the PS3 and PS4 download edition retail is priced at US$55 (6,762 Yen). For the "Attack on Titan" PS Vita package and download edition retail, it will be priced at US$55 (6,800 Yen) and US$49 (6,000 Yen), respectively.

Meanwhile, according to DualShockers, the new gameplay video of "Attack on Titan" is remarkably interesting, as it shows a very different combat system plus the transformation of gamers into a playable titan.
