Set to be aired on ABC on Feb. 22, "The Bachelor" Season 20 week 8 is expected to be more dramatic than the previous episodes of the reality TV dating game show. The episode will feature Ben Higgins' travels to the hometowns of Amanda Stanton, Lauren Bushnell, JoJo Fletcher and Caila Quinn.
Higgins did not encounter problems during his trips to West Linn, Oregon, with Bushnell, to Dallas, Texas, with Fletcher and to Hudson, Ohio, with Quinn. When Quinn was young, she moved around a lot so she did not really have a hometown and she was concerned Higgins would be underwhelmed by it, according to Reality Steve.
It turned out, however, that Higgins had no problem with it. In addition, he travelled to Orange County, California, to meet Stanton's two daughters.
Stanton had been telling Higgins how important it is for her to introduce any man to her daughters. The latter reassured her that their relationship was what really mattered and the two bonded on the beach with the bachelorette's children.
On the other hand, the episode will reportedly not end well for Stanton because Higgins will eliminate her. There are no details about whether or not it has something to do with Stanton having two children.
Meanwhile, Higgins' mother reportedly chose the bachelorette that he proposed to. An insider told Life & Style that the mother "thought one girl would be a better fit" and he "always thinks she knows best."
The insider added that Higgins asks his mother. According to the insider, it was obvious to everybody who was there that his mother "really made the final decision."
Bushnell is rumored to be "The Bachelor" Season 20 winner with Fletcher made it to the final two. If rumors are right, then Quinn will be eliminated in the ninth week.
In the seventh week of the ABC dating game show, Higgins eliminated Becca Tilley and Emily Ferguson. The other ladies previously eliminated include Lauren Himle, Olivia Caridi, Leah Block, Jennifer Saviano, Jubilee Sharpe, Amber James, Rachel Tchen, Haley Ferguson, Jami Letain, Shushanna Mkrtychyan and Lace Morris, among others.
