"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 is reportedly in danger of being axed by ABC.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shonda Rhimes' newest show on the said network has not been receiving high ratings as compared to its previous season.
To add to this, Rhimes' other show "Scandal" has also not been faring well.
According to the publication, both TV shows dropped four-tenths of a point in the key demo with "Scandal" receiving only a total of 1.7 million rating, and "How to Get Away With Murder" receiving a 1.4 rating.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 also did not fare as well with its two-tenth drop in ratings. As a result, the show garnered only a 2.2 rating. In which case, this is still impressive compared to "Scandal" and "How to Get Away With Murder."
Meanwhile, "How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 is expected to reveal more details about Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and Wes' (Alfred Enoch) relationship.
In "It's A Trap," Phillip Jessup (Jefferson White) is expected to return to the show, and he will also have some demands up his sleeves.
After filming the shooting incidents at the Hapstall mansion, Phillip is now threatening to expose Annalise and the Keating Five's secrets.
Not only did Asher (Matt McGorry), for instance, take the life of Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns), Bonnie (Liza Weil) also helped him get rid of the body.
In the same light, the video tape also shows that Wes was really the one responsible for shooting his professor Annalise that night.
Meanwhile, ABC just dropped a teaser for "How to Get Away With Murder" season 2, episode 12, and it showed the Keating Five and Annalise figuring out what they can do with Phillip.
"Take a deep breath. Let momma take care of it the way she always does," Annalise told her students.
In other news, the episode will also see Michaela (Aja Naomi King) hooking up with Caleb (Kendrick Sampson).
Laurel (Karla Souza) will also confront Frank (Charlie Weber) about killing Lila Stangard.
"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2, episode 12 will air on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
