In 2015, Tyra Banks confirmed that "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22 is the final cycle of the reality modelling competition she created. However, it was recently announced that VH1 is reinventing "ANTM" with a new host.

In a statement released by VH1, Banks said she is "beyond excited" to have "ANTM" reborn after creating what she describes as an incredible and global brand. She revealed that while she will no longer be the host of the show as she has to focus on new business endeavors, she will continue as executive producer.

Banks said she wants to find a new host and she is "pumped" to identify that person and bring back "ANTM." To the fans of the show, she said, "You demanded that the show come back, and VH1 answered the call. Get ready for a fierce-a-fied rebirth."

VH1General Manager Chris McCarthy also said they are thrilled to bring "ANTM" back to VH1 and partner with CBS Television Distribution and with Banks reinventing the franchise for a whole new generation.

McCarthy pointed out that the reinvented "ANTM" is a homecoming for the show created by Banks, which VH1 helped build as a cultural icon. CBS Corp. chief licensing officer Scott Koondel added that VH1 is the perfect partner for the reinvented modelling competition.

Meanwhile, "ANTM" Cycle 22 winner Nyle DiMarco was ranked fifth in the list 100 most eligible bachelors of 2016 by the Out magazine. YouTube star Tyler Oakley topped the list followed by "American Idol" alums Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken in the second and third place, respectively, and figure skater Johnny Weir in the fourth place.

Before DiMarco, Keith Carlos made a history as the first male "ANTM" winner in 2014. Carlos won the second cycle to feature male contestants.

The other winners of "ANTM" were Adrianne Curry, Yoanna House, Eva Pigford, Naima Mora, Nicole Linkletter, Danielle Evans, CariDee English, Jaslene Gonzalez, Saleisha Stowers, Whitney Thompson, McKey Sullivan, Teyona Anderson, Nicole Fox, Krista White, Ann Ward, Brittani Kline, Lisa D'Amato, Sophie Sumner, Laura James and Jourdan Miller.
