Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be released in October 2016 as the tech giant Microsoft is offering upto $200 discount on its Surface products.

At present, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is available with $100 discount till the end of February. The tablet has also won the Best Mobile Table Award at MWC 2016.

The Surface Pro 4 (4 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD, Intel Core M3 processor) is available for $799, while the Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core i5 processor, 128 GB) is available for $899.

The 256 SSD storage models, Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i5, are available for $1,499 and $1,199. The 256 GB SSD model with 16 GB of RAM and Intel Core i7 is available for $1,699.

Some of the features of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 include 8-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 12.30-inch display.

Furthermore, other notebooks that run on Windows 10 are available with huge discounts on the Microsoft Store. Currently, the dell XPS 13 Signature Edition is available for $699. The original price of the device is $899. The XPS 15 Signature Edition with Core i7 and 512 GB SSD is available for $1999. The initial price of the device is $2099.

Meanwhile, according to latest reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be released in October 2016.

It is expected that the upcoming device will come with a better battery. On the other hand, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 users are not very happy about the battery.

One user said that he tested the battery life of the Surface Pro 4 by viewing a long video on their device. The video was supposed to last about 8 hours. However, according to the user, their device only lasted for 3 hours.

He said that the company's claim that the tablet has a long-lasting battery is not correct and other users also shared their frustration over the device.

The other user said that when they put the device in Sleep Mode the battery got depleted. However, the tech giant fixed the issues right away and many users were able to fix the issue with the battery after some adjustments.

It is said that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with many improvements over its predecessor Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
