Hollywood star Jennifer Garner made a grand appearance at the 88th annual Academy Awards on Feb. 28, Sunday. The actress hit the red carpet with her manager and close friend, Nicole King, as she looked stunning in an off-shoulder black Atelier Versace gown.
With her hair pulled back into a chic updo, the "Daredevil" actress accessorised with simple jewellery and a dark manicure.
Earlier, the actress spoke openly for the first time post her split from her husband Ben Affleck, when she declared during an interview that she still and will always feel something special for the "Batman" actor.
"I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again,"said the 43-year-old actress while speaking candidly with Vanity Fair. "He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous."
The actress also confronted the rumors that her husband's affair with her kids' nanny triggered the breakdown of her marriage by saying that she first heard about the nanny several months after her split.
Although Garner seemed to be on amicable terms with her estranged husband, she sounded a bit off over Affleck's post divorce tattoo of a phoenix .
"A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario?" said the actress.
Garner married Affleck in 2005 after the pair met on the set of "Daredevil" two years earlier. The couple has three children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4. The couple announced the split in June 2015, after which it was rumored that the actor was having an affair with his nanny.
Despite the split, the estranged couple continues to live in the same house for the sake of their three children. Earlier, the two stars came together and celebrated their youngest child's 4th birthday on Feb. 27, Saturday, in their Los Angeles home, People reported.
Garner's close friend and fellow actress, Reese Witherspoon, and her "Alias" co-star Victor Garber were also present at the superhero-themed bash.
