"Shadowhunters" Season 1, episode 8 - Spoilers roundup
"With word of Alec, Jace and Isabelle's "extracurricular activities" with Clary reaching The Clave, a convoy is sent to observe the Lightwoods running the New York Institute. Once The Clave representative arrives, it is very clear how much trouble the Lightwoods are in.
Meanwhile, Clary is faced with a devastating decision," reads the synopsis.
The promo of "Shadowhunters" Season 1, episode 8 starts with Magnus Bane advising Alec that he should start living for himself.
Meanwhile, Jace is seen giving tips to Clary about Shadowhunting. "First rule of Shadowhunting - emotion clouds judgement," Alec says in the promo.
The scene cuts, Clary sees Simon. He is a vampire. Meanwhile, Jace explains to Clary if he listens to his heart, he would not be able to do his job.
The second half of the promo shows Simon being buried and Clary says that love makes you fight harder for what you want.
The promo ends with Simon coming out of his grave and Clary tries to talk to him. But, the vampire Simon is not in a mood to talk.
Meanwhile, in other "Shadowhunters" news, Harry Shum Jr. (Magnus Bane) talks about his character in an interview with Collider.
When asked if he was expecting his character to become a fan favorite, Shum Jr. stated that he wasn't expecting such a great response.
"No, I really wasn't. I know he was a fan favorite in the books, so you would think that the fans would love it, but there's a lot of pressure to get it right. It's been really cool to see. I just met a fan today, when I was at lunch. I'm not wearing the make-up, the hair or the outfits, so she had to do a double take, but she asked, "Are you Harry?" She almost started crying because Magnus Bane is one of her favorite characters and she loved how we were treating the character," Shum Jr. said,
