“Married At First Sight” Season 3, episode 15 titled “Six Months Later” sees the return of the three couples Tres and Vanessa, Sam and Neil and David and Ashley. While one the first couple decided to stay married during the “Final Decision” episode, it seems like Sam was still having a hard time accepting that her marriage with Neil is over.
In a sneak peek video for the upcoming episode of "Married At First Sight" Season 3, Sam was seen crying, breaking down about their failed marriage. The reality star admitted that she had been hard on Neil, adding that if she was in his shoes, she would have asked for a divorce as well. Sam acknowledged that she failed to be a good wife to Neil.
"I'm sad because if I were you, I would have asked for a divorce, too, because I didn't like what I saw in me," Sam said.
She later added that she did not know how she will be able to make it up to Neil. Sam explained that she could not find the words to express how sorry and ashamed she was of her past behavior. Neil, however, said that Sam did not need to apologize using her words. He held that her actions and emotions were more than enough.
"You don't have to use any words because your emotions tell it all. this is incredibly real, your words won't tell anything more.
In an interview with the New York Post, Neil said that he is extremely proud of the changes he saw in Sam. He said that his ex-wife definitely put in the effort to make their relationship work, albeit it happening near the end of the social experiment. If being part of "Married At First Sight" Season 3 has taught Neil something, its that people have the ability to change, if they want to.
He also shared that he learned a lot from "Married At First Sight" including different styles in order to communicate effectively with one's partner.
