The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature the return of "Tekken Bowl" and a new game mode, as well as clearing out several virtual reality theories and "Tekken X Street Fighter's" launch window.

Bandai Namco Entertainment game designer Michael Murray shared several new details for "Tekken 7" as he clears out several theories regarding the possible VR gameplay features. Murray stated in the Official PlayStation Magazine that VR gameplay for "Tekken 7" will not feature a "Tekken 2 Cheat Mode" like first person game style, but rather the VR mode with highlight Kousuke Waki’s character design and present offers a different aspect of the game as opposed to normal or core "Tekken" feel.

Murray added that "Tekken" game series has always been unpredictable, but has not reached that kind of level of innovation which could be a game changer this year, Segement Next reported.

Bandai Namco revealed that "Street Fighter" character Akuma will be included in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console versions of "Tekken 7" as a playable character and may add two new game modes within the sequel. The Japanese video game company are still finalising the remaining content and features for "Tekken 7" and will bringing back old game modes like "Tekken Bowl", while another game mode will involve a storyline with the Mishima clan.

There have been rumored reports that a Scenario mode for "Tekken 7" is being implemented so its possible that Bandai Namco is working on a storyline for it. "Tekken 7" will also feature an online mode similar to the arcades and more guest character appearances besides Akuma.

In other news, the second crossover project for Bandai Namco and Capcom, "Tekken X Street Fighter" has not been given a release date yet.

Murray stated that the "Tekken X Street Fighter" project is still in development and has not yet decided a release date for the game, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

"Tekken" game producer Katsuhiro Harada stated that the development for "Tekken X Street Fighter" is "pretty far" and has been quiet about it ever since. However, Murray explained that the crossover is being based on the PC, meaning the transition to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles should not be out of the question.

"Tekken 7" is speculated to launch on late 2016 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
