Justin Bieber is back on the road with a brand new tour under which the Canadian sensation will be singing and dancing his way across U.S. for the coming few months.

The singer kick-started the much awaited Purpose World Tour in Seattle at KeyArena on March 9, Wednesday, with his hit numbers, including "Mark My Words" and then hit up "I'll Show You," "What Do You Mean" and "Sorry." Keeping his debut costume low-key, the singer was clad in a long grey jacket, a plaid shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and skinny ragged jeans.

Bieber treated his fans by revisiting his old hits like "The Feeling" and "No Sense" too. Later on, the singer reportedly stripped off his shirt as the crowd went wild with excitement. The show hit its emotional peak when the singer was shown trapped behind glass while he crooned away one of his hit tracks, Daily Mail reported.

The 22-year-old will touring across the country before commencing the tour in New York on July 18. After a break of a few months, he will head for overseas and finish his tour in Europe.

Meanwhile, the singer confided during a rapid-fire interview with Glamour Magazine that finds it hard to stay cool under pressure and would like to be more patient.

"I'd be more patient," quipped the singer on being asked about the one thing he would change about himself.

Talking about his dream lover, Bieber declared that he would love to be with someone with, "a genuine heart and a great sense of humor." However, he remained tight-lipped about his current romantic interest.

The singer also revealed that he would love to settle down and have kids by the age of 30.

Meanwhile, Bieber continues to sit at No. 1 spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart for the eighth cumulative week. While the feat has brought him in ties with fellow Canadian singer The Weeknd for remaining atop the chart for eight weeks, the "Baby" hit maker still has a long way to go break Taylor Swift's record of remaining atop for 31 weeks.
