Earlier this month, Capcom teased that they will be dropping a major update for "Street Fighter 5" this week, and today, the Japanese video game developer and publisher shows off its first DLC character - Alex. Aside from the introduction of returning character Alex, Capcom also releases major details about its "Street Fighter V" March update.

According to VG247, Alex will once again inflict big damage to his opponents by using his Power Bomb grappler moves. Aside from specializing in grappling, "Mr. Big Muscle" (well, he's a big guy with big muscles) Alex has special attacks that can cover a large part of the screen plus he is also skilled at mid-range fighting.

It can be noted that Alex was first seen in "Street Fighter 3," which is said that took place after "Street Fighter IV," Shoryuken reported in 2014. The timeline of "Street Fighter" should look something like this: "Street Fighter" - "Street Fighter Alpha" - "Street Fighter II" - "Street Fighter IV" - "Street Fighter III" - "Street Fighter V."

Other characters that we need to look out for in the 2016 Season of "SFV," which is the fifth installment of the game series and was recently released in Feb. 16 for PS4 and Windows PC, will be the addition of Urien, Ibuki, Guille, Balrog and Juri.

Players would be able to purchase Alex via the new shop, which will also sell costumes aside from new characters. Yibada already reported in February that each DLC character will cost 600 Zenny, 100,000 Fight Money (given that players want to us FM instead) or $6 using real money.

Meanwhile, "Street Fighter V's" major March update, which will all be coming later this month, will feature overall gameplay improvements, new contents, new modes and numerous bug fixes.

Some of the new modes and contents that gamers should look out for:
