"The Bachelor" Season 20 (2016) finale is upon us. Ben Higgins will make his final decision and pick one of the two finalists-Lauren Bushnell or JoJo Fletcher as his bride-to-be and the winner of the show. In the final hours of the twentieth instalment of the show, fans can expect to see massive drama, final dates and final rose ceremony followed by "After the Final Rose" special. ABC has released the detailed summary of the much-awaited "The Bachelor" Season 20 (2016) three-hour event including finale and the live "After the Final Rose" special on its official website . According to the press release, Higgins' final rose ceremony is said to be "one of the most romantic and dramatic" ever.
The upcoming segment will reveal how the 26-year-old bachelor's search for love concludes. But before that fans will find out the emotional struggle Higgins' went through before deciding who to give the final rose and propose to.
However, Higgins' won't make the decision alone. He will find some support from his family. In the season finale, the bachelor makes his family meet Bushnell and Fletcher in an attempt to figure who among the final two is better fit in his family.
It is reported that Bushnell makes a "lasting first impression" on Higgins' parents. However, what matters the most is Higgins' father's opinion. As for Fletcher, she was reportedly a bit nervous but she succeeds in impressing the bachelor's parents. In the end, Higgins' parents are very clear about their feelings for the bachelorettes' but he is still struggling to make the final pick.
Bushnell and Fletcher's meeting with Higgins' parents is followed by a final date with the bachelor. Higgins hopes that the date will help him clear his mind and make the decision. His final date with Bushnell doesn't go as expected, according to the report. It is said that Higgins' unexpected behaviour causes drama and panics Bushnell.
As for his final date with Fletcher, it features some bombshells and confessions. While the bachelorette opens up about her feelings for him, the bachelor surprises her with a "bombshell." It is said that the final dates only leaves him with more doubt and questions. "A last-minute" phone call with someone unspecified is expected to help him take a stand and make his pick for the final rose ceremony.
In addition, Reality Steve confirms that there will be a proposal at the end of the rose ceremony. Higgins reportedly chooses Bushnell over Fletcher. The couple leaves Jamaica engaged.
The finale is followed by the live "After the Final Rose" special wherein Higgins and his final pick sit down to chat with "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison and discuss their journey. They will also be joined by the runner-up. In addition, the eventful finale will reveal the name of the woman leading "The Bachelorette" Season 12 (2016).
