Anna Duggar was reportedly having second thoughts about forgiving his husband Josh Duggar. While she remains calm in public, consistently talking about saving their marriage, a new report suggest that Anna, is in fact, thinking of filing a divorce.
According to an insider from Hollywood Life, Anna is being pressured by her friends to divorce Josh. While Anna and the rest of the Duggar family held that they are behind Josh every step of the way, the source held that things were still "very rocky" with the couple. Anna and Josh were reportedly praying non-stop, trying their best to reconcile for the sake of the children.
In spite of it all, Anna admitted that she is still quite apprehensive of welcoming Josh back into their lives. Speaking to People, she admitted that she still had reservations following the scandal.
"I don't know what I'm stepping into. I don't know how to handle each situation. It's not anything I ever would have thought I would walk through."
To make matters worse, the source claimed that Josh's family, especially his sisters, were still not over the controversy. In 2015, it was revealed that Josh was having secret affairs behind Anna's back, using the AshleyMadison.com website. He also admitted that he molested his sisters when they were younger, confessing that he also had an addiction to pornography.
"His sisters especially are having a hard time coping with having him back in their fold. As much as they want to be forgiving, it is hard to forget everything he has done," the insider said.
Josh has since attended a faith-based rehab facility. The reality star went home this week after completing the program. While Josh may insist that he has gotten over past this, TLC assured fans that they will not be seeing Josh in their screens anytime soon.
The network confirmed that Josh will not be part of the reality show, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." Anna, however, is reportedly more than welcome. With her popularity reportedly increasing after the scandal, the network is allegedly more than eager to show her side of the story.
