New details for "Daredevil" season 2 will feature Matt Murdock taking on the Hand in a new trailer and the possibility of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones appearing in the show.

Netflix featured the last trailer for "Daredevil" season 2 as the video features Matt Murdock/Daredevil fighting a war against a new threat in the form of the mysterious and dangerous ninja clan called The Hand. Stick (Scott Glenn) warns Matt of the Hand and upcoming war that they and his organization, the Chase will have with them and Daredevil will need all the help he can get to save Hell's Kitchen.

The trailer also sees Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Berthal) as he also takes on Daredevil in a fight as well as Elektra (Elodie Yung) who happens to be former lover turned ally for Matt Murdock when he takes on the Hand to stop an event called "the Rising".

"Daredevil" season 2 will also see Matt Murdock balanced his life as a lawyer by day and being a vigilante by night, and must struggle with his ideals and principles in bringing justice to criminals in Hell's Kitchen, Screenrant reported.

In other news, rumors are making rounds that two Marvel Netflix characters will be making an appearance in "Daredevil" season 2 as Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).

Luke Cage was first hinted in a teaser trailer for "Daredevil" season 2 were in Jossie's bar is shown as the scene shifts into "Welcome to Hell's Kitchen. Pick Your Poison", the viewers will then see a new sign that reads "Luke's" indicating that Luke will likely be operating a bar near Jossie's or he own the bar itself and renames it.

As for Jessica Jones, it is theorized that the lawyers that will represent Jeri Hogarth's assistant, Pam (Susie Ambromelt) for the murder of Wendy Ross-Hogarth (Robin Weigert) in the final episode of "Jessica Jones" are Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson, Moviepilot reported.

Previous reports claim that season 1 villain Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) will likely return to the "Daredevil" season 2 due to a leaked photo of D'Onofrio on the set of the show.

"Daredevil" season will premier on March 18 on Netflix.
