"Scorpion" season 2, episode 20 could see the end of Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter's (Elyes Gabel) future as a possible couple.
In the previous episodes, it was revealed that both Paige and Walter had feelings for each other.
However, the leader of Team Scorpion came up with a rule saying that no member of the team could get into a relationship with another.
Unfortunately, Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Happy (Jadyn Wong) were first to break the pack when they decided to announce they are now officially a couple.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Thomas said that Toby and Happy's relationship could encourage Walter to revisit his feelings for Paige.
"Actually, Happy and Toby getting together may help push Walter and Paige in the right direction. I imagine it's like an awkward double date where one couple can't stop making out and they're all over each other, and the other couple likes each other, but no one has made the first move yet. It creates awkwardness and brings up what obviously should be happening. I don't think it's just the audience at home watching it, everybody working at Scorpion sees how into each other they are. It'll turn up the heat under Walter a little bit," he said.
Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that Scott Porter will appear on Monday night's episode of "Scorpion" season 2.
There are some reports saying that Paige will immediately be drawn to how good looking Porter's Tim Armstrong character is.
In return, Tim will also find Paige really attractive, and the two will spend some time getting to know each other better.
While this is happening, Walter could realize that seeing Paige with another guy is not something that he can handle.
On the contrary, since he does not like addressing his emotions, it is possible that Walter will just pretend to take everything in stride.
Whether or not Walter will decide to pursue Paige sometime in the near future is something fans need to watch out for in the upcoming episodes.
"Scorpion" season 2, episode 20 will air on March 21 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
