Rumors of “The Big Bang Theory” co-stars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki dating have started to circulate online once again. Multiple insiders claim that after her divorce with Ryan Sweeting, the former couple has started to rekindle old romance.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Cuoco shared that she could not help but feel hurt whenever tabloids claim that the reason for her split with Sweeting is her alleged relationship with Galecki. The "Big Bang Theory" actress insisted that she and Galecki are nothing but friends. She added that she resented stories like that as she did not want to hurt her ex-husband.

When Cuoco confirmed that his marriage with Sweeting is over, fans of Leonard and Penny could not help but wish that they will end up together in real life. After all, the Cuoco and Galecki dated for a while in the early season of the hit CBS series. With their palpable onscreen chemistry, they just could not blame "TBBT" fans from assuming that they have started hooking up.

On her Instagram page, Cuoco immediately shut down rumors of her and Galecki dating. She said that there was no "secret fling" going on, contrary to early reports. Instead, she wrote that Galecki is just one of her best buds.

In spite of it all, several outlets insisted that there is something between Cuoco and Galecki. Celeb Dirty Laundry even went far as saying that Cuoco is only using Galecki to get back at Sweeting.

"Cuoco is stringing him along with her scheme against Sweeting," the source said.

In an earlier interview, "The Big Bang Theory" star shared that she is not yet ready to go back to dating. While her failed divorce with Sweeting did not turn her into a pessimist, Cuoco said that she just wanted to take things slow this time around. The actress also admitted that the divorce changed her perception about marriage but not on love.

"[What happened] changes the way I look at marriage, and that makes me sad. It does not change the way that I look at love. I cannot wait to be in love again," she explained.
