On April 1, both the smartwatch and the modular Android smartphone will be available for purchase. The smartwatch is the first Android Wear watch with LTE connectivity.

The smartwatch had unspecified hardware problems on its first launching. This made the South Korean company pull it out from the shelves. Last 2015, they stopped taking orders in November.

A company representative told the Telegraph that one of the components "failed to meet LG's quality standards." The issue could have affected the quality of their image over the longevity of the gadget, added the representative.

The smartwatch's second edition was an upgrade over LG's original model. It had a bigger screen, a smaller body and LTE connectivity.

The gadget is now back but unlike with other smartwatches in the market, customers will have to pay more than just the upfront cost. This extra payment made customers take full advantage of it.

Customers will need to add a SIM card to their data plan because of the smartwatch's cellular connectivity. They can operate independently of their phones which is a good advantage.

The carrier's NumberSync feature is also an advantage if customers will get the smartwatch's separate SIM card. This feature lets them attach their mobile numbers to other devices for sending and receiving calls and texts.

The smartwatch will have the carrier's plan available for 20 monthly payments of $18. For a two-year agreement, it will be $99.99 if customers will get the smartphone at the same time on the Next 24 plan the carrier is offering.

In other news, Verizon has not given any statements or any indication when or if it will still offer the smartwatch again. The rival carrier of AT&T has sold the smartwatch for a short time before it was recalled off the market by LG.
