The recent game had so many delays and online problems. In 2015, about 55 people were cut from the studios. Recently, Sony made a tough decision to finally shut down the studios for good.

The game company said in a statement that it would try to reallocate some of the members of the team to other studios. They also admit that they might lose some of the best talents in the gaming industry.

This new announcement closely follows a recent announcement by Microsoft of plans to close another British developer, Lionhead Studios. The PlayStation company has said that the decision was made after a review of its European operations.

Paul Rustchynsky, the studio's director, took to Twitter to thank the members of the studio. He hoped that the fans would celebrate the studio's closure by playing one of their games.

The video game development house was based in Cheshire, according to BBC. The game studio dates back to 1999.

The studio had specialized in racing games for the PlayStation games consoles for a while now. Its first title was the "World Rally Championship," which was released in 2001. This franchise was followed by many sequels.

In 2006, the studio launched their off-road racer game titled "Motor Storm." The recent driving game, "Driving Club," was the only one that had problems along the way.

Meanwhile, Jamie Brayshaw, the senior community manager for Evolution Studios, took to Twitter to say that the recent driving game will be in the hands of PlayStation. He thanked the community for their support and enthusiasm for the game.
