The latest details for the "Spider-Man 2017" film will feature Zendaya rumored role and the possibility of Peter Parker joining the Avengers in "Avengers: Infinity War".

Disney channel star and pop-singer Zendaya confirmed that she will be joining the cast of Marvel Studios new "Spider-Man" reboot during her guest appearance in "The Ellen DeGeneres" talk show, Comic Book Resources reported. The "Shake It Up" actress told Ellen that she is part of the "Spider-Man 2017" film, but cannot say anything about the film, other than she is part of the cast. Zendaya added that she is excited about the role as she admitted that this her first movie and has to start from the bottom if she could ever be notice as a movie star potential.

Several reports claim that Zendaya's possible role in the "Spider-Man 2017" movie could be Michelle Gonzales, a roommate of Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who happens to have an infamous one stand with him at one point. However, Zendaya's character is hinted to have a "key role" within the film, theorizing that Michelle is more than a roommate for Peter Parker and could very well be a potential love interest for him similar to Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson.

In other news, rumors are making rounds about the possibility that Spider-Man could join the ranks of Earth' Mightiest Heroes" in the next Avengers film, "Avengers: Infinity War".

"Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo stated that "Avengers: Infinity War" could introduce new characters that have not been seen in Marvel Cinematic Universe. The third "Captain America" film will kick start phase 3 in the MCU and has introduce two Marvel characters, Spider-Man and the Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).

It was rumored that there will be 67 characters pinned for "Avengers: Infinity War", but the Russo brothers clarified that they were being figurative about it, but they did say that their will be an incredible amount of characters in the film.

"Avengers: Infinity War" could see new Avenger members such as Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) joining the likes of Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and many more in their fight against the Mad Titan, Thanos (Josh Brolin) for the Infinity Stones, Screenrant reported.

Joe Russo even teased a possible new costume for the web-slinger as the audiences will see the evolution of Spider-Man's outfit in the future projects. Spider-Man will likely be joining team Iron Man against team Captain America during the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and one of the film's three post-credit scene will jump start his adventures in his solo film.

Spider-Man will appear first in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016 and his new solo film on July 28, 2017.
