While "Sense8" season 2 is not set to premiere until 2017, fans of the Netflix Original series have been eagerly awaiting for cast updates, spoilers and what they could possibly expect in the second season. Tina Desai, who plays Kala, hinted that viewers may finally get to see more of Kala and Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) in the coming episodes.
In an interview with International Business Times, Desai explained that most of the cast were kept under the dark on what will happen in "Sense8" season 2. She, however, admitted that she have read the script up until the seventh episode but decided against giving hints, thinking that it will be much better for fans to be surprised of what's to come.
Desai added that "Sense8" fans will definitely have something to look forward to in terms of Kala and Wolfgang's relationship. While the actress refused to reveal if Kala will eventually end her engagement with Rajan (Purab Kohli), she insisted that the attraction they felt towards each other is only going to intensify.
"I can just say things have gotten even more intense and action-packed, and the relationship between Kala and Wolfie is more stressful and electric than ever!" she explained.
In the interview, Desai also described Max Riemelt, who plays Wolfgang in the series, as a "tremendous" actor. She added that she felt closer to Max than any other cast members because of the time they spent together filming, which is probably why fans can definitely see the connection between them.
"The support for Kala and Wolfie's story is maniacal and I love it!"
Desai also shared that she is definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of the "Sense8" cast when they begin filming for season 2. She shared that even after season 1 ended, the rest of the cast actually stayed in touch and even met up with each other in different countries, adding that they started to become friends too, in real life.
Meanwhile, on his Twitter page, Anupam Kher, who plays Sanyam Dandekar in the series, posted that he is also looking forward to returning to "Sense8" season 2. He also shared a photo of the script, in which it was revealed that he has been filming for two days in Mumbai.
