The gusty "Fast & Furious 8" actress Michelle Rodriguez is preparing for her role by driving at 201 mph in the latest Jaguar F-Type SVR automobile.

Rodriguez is all set to reprise her role as Leticia "Letty" Ortiz in the upcoming thriller. She drove the Jaguar at the 318 Highway in Nevada, which was specifically closed to the public in order for this fast-drive. She drove an orange colored car and soon surpassed her personal best of 140 mph to reach a dizzying speed of 201 mph.

She was accompanied by a professional race car driver for safety purposes. At the culmination of the ride, Rodriguez said that the Jaguar is very smooth and it was an insane experience to ride at such a great speed, according to Motor Authority.

Meanwhile, it was rumoured earlier that Lucas Black will most likely reprise his role as Sean Boswell in the upcoming action movie, "Fast and Furious 8." The rumour was confirmed when it was reported that the actor had signed a contract with the production house, when he started acting in the movie franchise.

Hence, this contract makes it mandatory for him to return to the movie in case the story demands it. Current rumours state that his character will be playing the role of Dominic Toretto's (played by Vin Diesel) new road buddy.

Reports also indicate that the character of Boswell will play a more significant role and not just a short cameo, similar to what he had in the seventh film. In the 7th part of the action franchise, Black appeared in only one scene in which he is seen to discuss about Toretto Han's (played by Sung Kang) death.

However, nothing is confirmed about who will reprise the role the late Paul Walker. Justin Bieber may also be a part of the film. He was earlier speculated to be the replacement for the late Walker, though reports now indicate that he may be roped in for Black's race buddy.

Meanwhile, the shooting for the film has already started and it is expected to wrap up in just two months, according to Yahoo Movies. The cast is currently shooting in Iceland, where a horse was also killed because of a flying iceberg.
