"Every joke in the movie is in that trailer," an insider told Birth Movies DeathThe reshoot is expected to add a comic twist to the movie and make its characters more appealing. The re-filming has been already started and is reportedly adding significant cost to the budget of the movie.

Apart from additional jokes, the interactions between the characters are also being modeled to make it appear goofier. The movie surely has come a long way from the days when the cast and crew were bragging about how this film was so dark, that, according to E! News, director David Ayer had to hire an on-set therapist.

Despite the reshoots, "Suicide Squad" is running on time and is expected to release on Aug. 5. The movie stars Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Will Smith, Cara Delevingne and Jai Courtney.

"Suicide Squad" centers around a group of supervillains, who accept a secret government mission in exchange for clemency, but are likely to meet their end. While Smith is playing Deadshot in the movie, Leto is playing Joker and Delevingne will be seen in the role of Enchantress, a powerful sorceress.

"Suicide Squad" is expected to bring a fresh feel to superhero genre movies since it will turn the perspective away from the world of heroes to a bunch of twisted villains, who are stripped off moral codes. While Joker appears to attract major attention in the trailer with its deranged antics, Robbie's Harley Quinn is also fast emerging as fan-favorite character.
