The jailbreak community is apparently convinced that following Apple's release of iOS 9.3.1, a modified version coming from the Pangu Team or TaiG will touchdown soon enough. There may be fake jailbreaks out there but the current setting points to a legitimate iPhone and iPad unlocker being made available to the public in no time.

In fact, even the presence of these fake jailbreaks somehow indicates that the latest iOS build can be pried open for some tinkering. As pointed out by Gotta Be Mobile, developer qwertyoruiop has already shown a working iOS 9.3 jailbreak on an iPhone 6, which proved the point that even with the latest 9.3.1 patch there exist exploits on iOS that hackers can use to work on JB tool and finalize it as a working untethered jailbreak.

So it is only a matter of time before the new jailbreak, which will replace the incremental iOS 9.1 JB, hits the road.

And if jailbreak developers are looking for the right timing, now is the best time to do so according to Forbes, stressing that "there's not been a better time to release a jailbreaking tool." The settings do agree for a JB tool to come out. For one, iOS 9.3.1 is fresh out of the gate and all indications seem to tell that the software is fairly stable.

It is likely too that 9.3.1 will be the last from Apple before work fully shifts on iOS 10 and that would mean that iOS 9.3 is game for developers to jailbreak or at least to finalize the works performed so far.

In such an event, it is fair to assume that a 9.3 jailbreak will come out between now and June or before Apple's 2016 WWDC edition. While waiting, WCCF Tech shared some tips for jailbreak fans. For those already in iOS 9.1 jailbreak, the best thing to do is to stick with what they have.

It could be that a 9.3 jailbreak will soon come out but just to make sure of not getting locked out of the jailbreak scene, the best option available for jailbreak fans is to keep their iPhones and iPads on iOS 9.2 at the latest. Anytime from now, WCCF said, Apple will stop signing the later versions and that would mean no turning back from iOS 9.3.1.

And the dreaded scenario would be any of Pangu or TaiG releasing a jailbreak not based on iOS 9.3, a jailbroken iPhone or iPad will be out of the question.
