Valve Corporation has been reported to bring the much-awaited sequel game, "Left 4 Dead 3," during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.

Rumors about the game sequel have been circulating in the online world since "Left 4 Dead 2" made its world premiere in Nov. 17, 2014. While it is no news that Valve's supposed sequel game is still an uncertainty, fans worldwide are wanting to hear more details about the game.

After a seven-year hiatus, the survival horror game franchise is set to return to the limelight, as the most recent news reveals the alleged on-going development of the sequel game. Former Valve employee, Minh "Gooseman" Le, during an interview with GoRgnTV on Twitch, claimed that the studio is currently working harder to bring fresh substance and new characters to the sequel game.

Although no clarity has originated from all the said claims as far as Valve is concerned, some solid fans still believed that the mentioned new characters include a hoodlum named Irvin, a former stewardess named Katherine, a well-known Kenpo warrior named Garret Jr. and Keenan, a comic book geek.

The said speculation coincide with some reports claiming that the sequel game will have a bigger, better campaigns than its predecessors. The rumored game will reportedly have a total of 6 campaigns, including Inquisitor Land, Early Destination, Cliffhanger, Crash-Land, No Mercy, and Impasse.

In spite of the way that a supportive statement guarantees a possible participation of Valve in E3 2016, perhaps to announce the game's release date or its relative title, it is always best to take all the claims with a pinch of salt for now unless Valve officially confirmed it.

Meanwhile, the second title in the game franchise, "Left 4 Dead 2," has been added by Microsoft in the Xbox One backward compatibility list along with other Xbox 360 game titles, Segment Next reported.

2009's "Left 4 Dead 2" is set in the midst of the fallout of an apocalyptic pandemic. It focuses on four new survivors, who are battling against swarms of the Infected. The said Infected, otherwise known as zombies, are humans who have contracted a transformed strain disease.
