Early reviews for "Captain America: Civil War" are in and they are full of praises for actors Tom Holland and Daniel Bruhl. Holland did a very good job portraying the geeky, high school Spider-Man and Daniel Bruhl also played a convincing villain as Baron Zemo.
Spoilers for the film are out after it premiered in Los Angeles on Tuesday. With regard to Holland's appearance as Spider-Man, according to The Telegraph, the actor really did a marvelous job of portraying the dorky, funny and super-powered high school student.
The 19-year-old actor portrayed a different version of Peter Parker and Spider-Man that was different from Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire. Holland gave the best screen representations of the character, according to BirthMoviesDeath.
Spider-Man's appearance in one of the battle scenes in "Captain America: Civil War" is one of the best scenes in the movie. The reports also confirmed rumors that in the film, Tony Stark is responsible for honing Parker's skills as the web crawler.
One scene in the movie shows Tony Stark/Iron Man recruiting Parker to be on his team. The pair supposedly gets into a serious conversation about power. Somewhere in their talk, Peter gives Stark an improved version of the famous "with great power comes great responsibility" phrase from the "Spider-Man" films.
The German Brühl also did a fantastic job portraying Baron Zemo. In his past interview, the actor kept mum about his role in the movie. However, the reviews reveal the villain actually plays an important role in the film.
Baron Zemo finally comes out from hiding following the events in "Captain America: Winter Soldier." In the movie the villain is on a mission to hunt down Hydra agents, since they have information about a hit the Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes performed in 1991. However, with Zemo out tracking these agents, Barnes' life is also at risk.
This only adds up to Barnes' complicated situation. He is already wanted by the government after he becomes implicated in a terrorist attack. The Avengers are sent out by the government to hunt him down. Obviously, Barnes is not involved in the attack. But his past collaboration with H.Y.D.R.A. makes it hard for the government, as well as for the other Avengers, to believe he is innocent.
