David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are reportedly in the middle of splitting their financial empire in preparation for their impending divorce. The couple reportedly had a combined net worth of over $770 million. Since early March, Victoria and David has been in the center of divorce rumors, with insiders claiming that it was only a matter of time before they file the actual papers.
According to Radar Online, David and Victoria are "on the verge" of a divorce. The insider went further by saying that the couple has been "leading separate lives" for quite a while. David and Victoria, however, were allegedly trying to keep things in the down low, since they do not want their four kids, Brooklyn, Harper, Romeo and Cruz, to be caught in the middle.
"They are waiting for a quiet time to make a short announcement about the status of their relationship. They don't want a lot of attention around it. There won't be any drama," the insider said.
While the David and Victoria have been spotted multiple times in the past month, multiple reports insist that the couple is spending some time apart. They speculated that the Beckham couple intentionally wanted to be seen together to dispel any divorce rumors. David and Victoria were recently spotted at the gym together, which was reportedly uncommon.
"He's usually there alone," the insider pointed out.
National Enquirer, via International Business Times, reported that the couple already went ahead and split their financial empire and were dividing their net income of $770 million. The Miami MLS team owner also allegedly resigned as a director in Victoria's fashion label.
Fans of David and Victoria, however, will be happy to know that the divorce rumors may be nothing but rumors after all. A spokesperson from the Beckham family issued a statement to Gossip Cop, stating that fans had nothing to worry about. He also addressed the issue of David retiring from Victoria's fashion label as nothing but an accounting issue.
"The marriage between the Spice Girl and the majestic midfielder is in great shape, and called the moves nothing more than an accounting issue," the source explained.
