Although "Fifty Shades Darker," sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey," is slated to hit theaters by 2017, fans of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson cannot help but scour the internet for possible spoilers. A new report revealed that the "FSOG" movie sequel will allegedly deviate from the book.

According to International Business Times, a new behind-the-scene photo from "Fifty Shades Darker," showed Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Dornan (Christian Grey) wearing wedding rings. Fans of the trilogy know that Christian only proposed to Ana at the end of the second book, with "Fifty Shades Freed" opening on their honeymoon. Could the wedding rings mean that fans will actually get to see a Christian and Ana wedding in "Fifty Shades Darker?"

Deviating from the EL James' book may just be one of the trick up director James Foley's sleeves to make "Fifty Shades Darker" more interesting. After the first "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie was met with criticism both by critics and moviegoers alike, many insiders claim that the producers are relying on Foley to save the franchise. In spite of all the controversy surrounding the "FSOG" movie, it definitely did well in the box office, earning over $571 million with a $40 million budget.

Dornan and Johnson were only paid a modest $250,000 to star in the first "Fifty Shades of Grey." After the film hit big, Daily Mail reported that both actors are expected to rake in no less than sever figure salaries for "Fifty Shades Darker." The outlet noted that it was standard Hollywood practice for leads to renegotiate once a film performs well in the box office.

"It was a very basic franchise starter deal. Look at Twilight and Hunger Games, and that's where it is heading," an industry insider explained.

Dornan's salary could even shoot higher than Johnson if the actor agreed to do a full frontal in "Fifty Shades Darker." It has long been rumored that producers were offering the actor $1.5 million bonus to show more skin in the sequel, something the Dornan was allegedly considering.

"That's just a starting figure. Jamie would be crazy not to consider it," an insider said.

"Fifty Shades Darker" hits theaters on February 10, 2017.
