The Los Angeles County District Attorney announced on Thursday April 14 that Brandon W. Jones, an actor with a recurring role in "Pretty Little Liars," was charged with flaunting a knife and pointing a gun at a neighbor during an alleged disagreement.

Confirming in a news release via the Los Angeles County District official website, the attorney's office said that the 27-year-old Jones "exhibited a hidden handgun" during a dispute with a neighbor on Oct. 30, 2015. The DA added that the "Pretty Little Liars" actor brandished a knife and pointed a gun at someone during a different incident on March 24.

The North Carolina resident now faces one felony count of assault and two misconduct counts for displaying a deadly weapon and showing a concealable firearm in public. If found guilty, Jones could serve over five years of imprisonment.

Meanwhile. Jones' representative gave a statement via TMZ concerning the situation on Thursday saying, "It is our understanding that the gun in Mr. Jones' possession was fully legal and registered, that he was on his girlfriend's private property, and that he and his girlfriend felt that they were under threat in a dispute with neighbors."

According to the police spokesperson Officer Matthew Ludwig, the second incident that happened on March 24 was just five months after the Oct. 30, 2015 incident. The Los Angeles police were called to a neighborhood during the dispute, in which case they arrested Jones.

The case for the actor of "Pretty Little Liars" is still under investigation. However, Jones is free on a $50,000 bond and is supposed to be arraigned Thursday.

Jones is famous for his role as Andrew Campbell in "Pretty Little Liars," a popular teen drama-mystery on the ABC Family. Currently, Jones plays a character suspected of kidnapping the girls called "Liars" on the show.

Apart from his role in "Liars," Jones has a long list of TV credits. He has as well played roles in such series as "CSI," "90210," "First Day," "The Fosters," and most recently, "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."
