While fans are eagerly waiting on what is in store for Apple's new improvements of their Macbooks and Macbook Airs, others are curious on what the tech giant is doing for the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

According to Mac Rumors, while fans would need to wait until fall for the possible release of Apple's new iPhones, rumors and leaks have been surfacing online. The report states that a possible photo of the iPhone 7 has been posted on a Chinese website. The website also confirms that the possible leaked photos were taken from Catcher Technology, one of the manufacturers tied up with Apple.

Moreover, the same publication claims that a Japanese site, Mac Otakara, is adamant that the leaks are real. The photo shows the possible new version of the iPhone is similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models, but with its own twist. Otakara states that the new iPhone 7 Plus model could come with a Smart Connector that could be used for a possible external keyboard for the smartphone.

On one hand, Apple is also planning to go without their headphone jacks and would opt for Bluetooth headphones instead. This would give more room for dual speakers, something that Apple already lacks.

Meanwhile, it is said that the company is planning to draw a more definitive line with their iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models, TheWeek UK reported. Apple is speculated to add higher specifications and better hardware to their iPhone 7 Plus model, even possibly giving it a dual camera feature as well. The report also states that Apple has already asked help from its tech rival, Samsung, in creating their future iPhone screens.

The Cupertino-based tech giant is also planning a possible overhaul of their displays from LED to OLED. Apple is said to be shelling out over 1-billion British Pounds for the screens, while Samsung is said to be shipping out millions of their 5.5 inch screens, making the rumoured upgrade to be for their iPhone 7 Plus models only.

There is no word yet however on when screens would make their debut, but it will be more likely to be added in their 2018 iPhone models. Apple has yet to comment on the rumoured leaks though.
