Fans have another reason to believe that Rockstar is indeed working on a sequel of "Red Dead Redemption" as the game map for the sequel is reportedly leaked online.

The leak came from the NeoGAF forum when user Mideon posted the said map on the website, Game Spot reported. According to the source, the map will serve as the direction map for players and it is truly the real deal.

Fans might not be surprised at all since a few months ago, CEO of Take-Two Strauss Zelnick teased that they are closely looking at "Red Dead Redemption 2," since the reception has been phenomenal. They are, however, trying to avoid franchise fatigue which is why Rockstar was quiet with regards to the game.

"I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent," Zelnick said in an interview. He also went on and said that "Red Dead Redemption" is indeed one of their permanent franchises saying "It's obvious that 'GTA' is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise, again with the same caveat, or 'Borderlands,' for example, and NBA and others."

Moreover, rumor has it that the game, once green-lit, shall be called "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West." With the much-anticipated sequel inching closer to getting an actual release date, Escapist Magazine suggested some gameplay add-ons that will make the game better than its predecessor.

More quests will give gamers more time to immerse themselves into the story and more memorable characters should also be introduced, as stated in the website. The first game introduced strong characters which presented plenty of challenge to gamers and it should stay the same. Rockstar was praised for doing such a good job on giving even minor characters depth in terms of character.

However, it was also noted that "GTA V" NPC characters were a bit flat and the author hopes that would not be the case for "Red Dead Redemption 2." Here are some ideas from user LeakyTapsMan on how "RDR 2" should go.
