Sony Xperia Z6 will be sporting a 5.2-inch IPS WQHD display screen along with a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, according to BGR. The devices will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and will be armed with Android Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

The device is also rumoured to be packed with a 4 GB RAM, which will be expandable up to 512 GB through a microSD card. It may also house an Adreno 530 GPU and be equipped with a 23 mega pixel front camera with an aperture of f2.0, according to Motoring Crunch.

As far as the connectivity specs are concerned, it is expected to feature the Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac along with Bluetooth version 4.2. It is further rumored to be IP68 certified, which means it will be dust proof and also water resistant.

A recent report also says that the device will be equipped with the Force Touch technology. If this is actually fond in the upcoming flagship, Sony will also introduce the pressure detection technology for the screen of the Xperia Z6. This technology will make it easy for the applications to run smoothly. It works when the screen detects the touch patterns of the users, and then feeds it in the device's memory. This feature is already found in Apple iPhone 6s.

It is also reported that the Sony Xperia Z6 will be featuring the Sony STAMINA mode and the Ultra-STAMINA mode. These modes will not only make the device more power efficient, but will also allow the users to set the power modes manually.
