"Scenes like these have to be filmed from multiple angles and usually require about 100 takes in general,"Soompi quoted director Kim as saying. "When we were filming, if Song Joong Ki made a mistake, Song Hye Kyo would say, 'One more time.'"

Although there is no word on how long either of those kissing scenes took to film, it seems that the lead stars have put a lot of work into it, considering that it is cinematically effective. In fact, the 30-year-old male titular character in the series' previously expressed that he and co-star Hye Kyo were serious when they took the wine-kiss scene that took place in the fourth episode.

Joong Ki went on to say that they were worried about the first kiss scene, as they did not know how the public would respond to it, which keeps them from thinking whether the viewers would relate to Kang Mo Yeon and Yoo Si Jin's emotions, HanCinema has learned.

It has also been reported that both Joong Ki and Hye Kyo felt awkward after they shoot the episode 9 kiss scenes, leading the crew member of the show to guess who "has practiced better." As recalled, the on-screen couple shared a romantic kiss on the back of the pick-up truck after they confirmed their love for one another, and when Joong Ki's character plant a surprise kiss on Hye Kyo when they stopped at the gas station on their way back to the base.

Apart from that, the director also revealed that Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won had a bed scene, but was removed during the latter half of the editing process. He added that the director and writer shared the same sentiments that taking it out would make the couple appear more refreshing.
