Lee Min Ho and Jeon Ji Hyun might pair up in a new romantic comedy drama. The latest news claims that the two are in talks about making a comeback drama together.

The 34-year-old actress is said to be planning a comeback after her maternity leave. It has been learned that Jeon, also known as Gianna Jun, is already considering her next project that would reunite her with "My Love from another Star" writer, Park Ji Eun, Soompi has learned.

According to the Chinese media, Jeon's management said that the actress is still in talks about it and stressed that they will make an official announcement once the decision has been made. If the actress does go forth with the offer, then it will be her small screen comeback after two years.

The rumor mill has it that it may be the same drama, who have courted the 28-year-old actor to play the male lead character. The Hallyu star Lee, who rose to fame for his performance in "Boys over Flowers," hit the headlines in early January after an entertainment industry insider claim that he has been offered to star in a new drama from writer Park.

The drama is said to be directed by Jin Hyuk, whom the actor has previously worked with on 2011's action-thriller drama, "City Hunter." The TV director also helmed the blockbuster series, "Master's Sun" and "Brilliant Legacy."

Lee's agency, Starhaus Entertainment, was keen to confirm the news and stressed that the drama is being considered with the highest priority, All K-pop reported. If Lee decides to do this drama, then it will mark his return to the small screen in three years after wrapping up with "The Heirs."

Though not much has been revealed about Park's upcoming drama, several reports are already claiming that the producers plan to go for either a completely pre-produced or half-pre-produced format due to the unequivocal success of KBS 2TV's "Descendants of the Sun." The drama is reportedly eyeing for a broadcast in the latter half of the year on SBS network.

While nothing is impossible, the report should be taken with a grain of salt, as nothing has been officially confirmed. Check out the video below:
