Joining Holland in the "Spider-Man 2017" film are "Empire" TV actress Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and pop-singer Zendaya as Michelle Gonzales, while recent reports revealed that "One Life to Live" actress Laura Harrier and "The Grand Budapest Hotel" star Tony Revolori are added to the film.

Sadly, it seems that "Birdman" star Michael Keaton will not be participating in the "Spider-Man 2017" movie as he has "passed" the role after several talks. Previous reports and rumors speculated that Keaton will be playing the film's main villain.

On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the "Spider-Man 2017" movie after several rounds of negotiations with him, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Downey along with "Avengers" co-star Chris Evans teased a possible appearance of both Captain America and Iron Man in the "Spider-Man 2017" movie as Peter Parker will be making his first appearance in "Captain Amercia: Civil War" joining Tony Stark's side of the war along with War Machine (Don Cheadle), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Vision (Paul Bettany) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).

It is rumored that Tony will likely mentor the young Peter Parker as an Avenger since he has sided with him during the events of "Civil War" in order to become a better a hero.

In other news, it seems that a villain from Spider-Man's rogues gallery will be making his live-action debut in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as Adrian Toomes/The Vulture is hinted to join the film.

According to Birth.Movie.Death, Adrian Toomes will likely have a "non-main villain" role in the movie, although he will likely make trouble for Spidey in the plot. Previous reports claim that Kraven the Hunter is being considered to be the main villain in the film as Sony and Marvel Studios wanted to introduce a foe that has not made his/her live-action debut in the big screen.

Marvel and comic book fans will see Spider-Man first in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, while "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7, 2017.
