According to Samsung-centric website SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release will happen in July, instead of its usual launch in September. For the past years, Samsung has been using the IFA event in Berlin, Germany as its launching platform for the Galaxy Note series. The South Korean tech company usually holds a media event a day or two before the conference.

According to reports, Samsung is looking into releasing its phablet in summer, which is actually better than fall release window as there are fewer competitions, especially the much anticipated Apple device.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 rumored features include the same screen size, but with better pixel resolution. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 823 SoC from Qualcomm paired with 6GB RAM, which will boost the performance of the device. There are also rumors that Galaxy Note 6 will come equipped with USB Type-C ports to make the handset slimmer.

The phablet will be dust and water proof since it will be IP68 certified and will be more secured with the inclusion of iris and fingerprint scanner. The addition of new features will deliberately bring longer battery life.

However, there is no official statement from the South Korean tech giant yet.
