CD Projekt RED is on a high since the release of their DLC for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" over a month ago. With the game getting good marks from fans and critics alike, there is no wonder why everyone is waiting for what is in store for their next DLC, called "Blood and Wine."

According to Mobipicker, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" "Hearts of Stone," the first DLC pack for the game, will be followed up by "Blood and Wine" DLC. Here, fans will continue on Geralt's story and head to the region of Toussaint, which will be based off of the country of France. Fans of the game could expect a lot of adventures and sword swinging tasks in the upcoming "Blood and Wine" DLC.

CD Projekt RED, however, has announced very little details about the upcoming DLC, only the fact that it would include 20 hours of game play including some additional gears as well as new foes, Crossmap reported. This would been in addition to the new map to be added once it is released.

In addition, it is speculated that there would be new characters fans should look out for as "Blood and Wine'" would be tying up some loose ends from the whole "The Witcher 3" universe. It is also rumored that there would be new monsters as well to look out for, Bruxas, Manticores and Strigas. "The Withcher 3: Wild Hunt" DLC "Blood and Wine" could also be set as a possible return for Anna Henrietta, the Duchess of Toussaint, and Vilgefortz, the Evil Sorcerer, both are speculated to be making some surprise appearances in the DLC.

There is still no official word on when "Blood and Wine" would be released; however, some have speculated that the release date could come as early as April 26. On the contrary, others have quickly refuted the possible April release date, as there is no official word yet from CD Projekt RED.

Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red released some screenshots on what gamers can expect from "Blood and Wine" DLC, along with a trailer for fans to enjoy.

Fans who are dying to get their hands on "Blood and Wine" would have to wait a little bit longer for the DLC to come out. For now, gamers can continue playing "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" while waiting for its second downloadable content.

"The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" is expected to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
