"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will get a new multiplayer mode, which will be called Plunder. PAX East 2016 attendees will be able to try out the new game mode for the game this coming weekend.

According to Naughty Dog lead game designer Robert Cogburn on PlayStation's official blog, the Plunder mode will be Capture the Flag type game mode, but it has its own twist as an "Uncharted" game, which is characters can throw the flag or the idol. Players will need to have great teamwork in order to win a match, when capturing the idol and bringing it back to the players' home treasure chest.

Attendees of PAX East 2016 will be able to try this new game mode when it will be showcased during the weekend. Those who will not be able to go to the event, they will not have to worry, because the upcoming "Uncharted 4" beta and multiplayer stress test will have this new game mode for beta testers to try out, according to Gamespot.

The video game studio has also made changes with the old "Uncharted" titles. For those who are familiar with the classic Plunder game mode, they will be able to enjoy the perk of travelling with the idol this time around just like with the recent game title, since the game developer has removed the constraint. Plunder mode for the older titles will now be four versus four players instead of the usual five versus five players.

The new game mode will be playable on three different maps, which are Island, Madagascar City, and Rooftops. Beta testers will be familiar with these maps since these were available in the beta and multiplayer stress test in the past.

Cogburn has assured the fans that there will be more secrets to reveal during the event, since the new multiplayer game mode is just one of the many to come. He also said that the things that they will reveal soon during the event will make a lot of people happy. The game will be released on May 10, and will be exclusively released on PlayStation 4.
