Promotional material for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was unveiled Tuesday, April 26, revealing more than what fans could hope for the release. The official poster teased of a remastered version of the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" series.

According to "Call of Duty" enthusiast Charlie Intel, a photograph of a "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" pre-order card from Target was uploaded by a user on Snapchat. The card featured was for the "Legacy Edition" of the game, and also indicates the release date which is Nov. 4, 2016.

What is more, the card specifies that the pre-order bundle also includes a full game download of the remastered version of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." It is assumed that the remaster in question is that of the first "Modern Warfare" that came out in 2007, although nothing has been confirmed at this point.

This proves to be exciting news for fans that have long requested to have "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" be booted up for the PlayStation 4.

The leaked promotional material also tells something about the setting for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." It appears that the game, which was developed by Infinity Ward, will be more futuristic. According to Forbes, there is a possibility that "Infinite Warfare" could take place in outer space. This makes complete sense since the last game Infinity Ward created was "Call of Duty: Ghosts," raising speculations that the upcoming installment could be a sequel.

"Call of Duty: Ghosts" generated positive reviews from critics and fans. It was particularly recognized for its multiplayer gameplay and the new game mode called "Extinction." But despite the applause, the game was criticized for lacking an innovative and compelling storyline and failing to emotionally connect with players.

Additionally, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" poster features a man wearing what appears to be a spacesuit and helmet.

Meanwhile, the "Infinite Warfare" tab on the PlayStation Store does little to inform fans about what to expect with the game. For the most part, Activision has kept quiet about the upcoming release. The company, however, promised to dish more about "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" starting May 3.
