"Captain America: Civil War" revealed the evolution of Spider-Man's suit and announced the release of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" at the end-credits scene. The movie also gave Spider-Man more than a cameo appearance for his introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film already opened in some theaters in Asia and those who waited for the end-credits scene definitely saw a glimpse at the upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" film. The scene opened with the young Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, dressed in his superhero costume. He is inside his room at his aunt May's house tinkering with his suit. Here viewers learned that Tony Stark has already modified Spider-Man's suit using Starktech.

Holland's Spider-Man suit is unlike its predecessors, as seen in the past "Spider-Man" films. This time it is more high-tech since it has been enhanced with additional functions, including a holographic projector. Spider-Man's web shooters now have a digital readabout, according to Slashfilm.

Holland himself was impressed with his suit. He told Comicbook that his Spider-Man costume looked incredible and amazing. However, these were not his initial impressions when he wore the outfit for the first time. He told the publication that he had to use his stunt man's costume at first, because he had none. He said the suit looked baggy and uncool on him, since he is a little shorter than his stunt double. The staff eventually made a costume for him that was tailored to his height.

Aside from Spider-Man's suit, the end-credits scene in "Captain America: Civil War" also hinted to the release of "Spider-Man: Homecoming." The camera zoomed in on the ceiling inside Parker's room and displayed the phrase "Spider-Man will return."

"Captain America: Civil War" showed a different version of the superhero. Holland portrayed the geeky version of the teenaged Parker, who likes to scavenge for scrap electronics. The 19-year-old actor also proved that he knows how to crack jokes during fight scenes, much like his comic book counterpart. Overall, the British star impressed viewers with his own portrayal of the superhero. "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn even rained praises on the young star on social media.
