"The Bachelorette" 2016 lead JoJo Fletcher reportedly underwent plastic surgery before joining the ABC reality series. A new report suggested that "The Bachelor" 2016 alum agreed to get a little bit of work done to prep for the show. Was she forced by the producers to go under the knife?
According to OK! magazine, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, fans of Fletcher will be surprised to see the reality star when "The Bachelorette" 2016 premieres this May 23. The source claimed that Fletcher "looked barely recognizable." Surgeons allegedly told the publication that Fletcher definitely had work done between shows.
CDL recounted that there were rumors circulating online that Fletcher only agreed to become the next Bachelorette because she wanted to get famous. She allegedly joined the reality series for all the wrong reasons. It was said that Fletcher is "more interested in becoming a celebrity than she is a wife." If Fletcher actually had some work done, the outlet insisted that this should be taken as an indication that she may not be as innocent as she seems.
Comparing the promo pictures released by ABC to Fletcher's old photos, the outlet claimed that the reality star looked "a bit different." This, however, can also be attributed to some very creative Photoshop-ing.
While Fletcher clearly does not like her usual self, The Stir pointed out that it could have been a result of just some intense contouring. If, however, she actually decided to go under the knife, the outlet pointed out that it was only natural for the reality star to feel conscious about her looks. It was said that Fletcher may be worried about how she looks on-cam and decided to get a little bit of work done. Plus, there's also the issue of meeting all 25 guys at once, which is bound to make her feel nervous one way or another.
"Honestly, the only way this would be really upsetting is if the producers told JoJo she HAD to get plastic surgery to be the Bachelorette."
