Bruce Jenner has announced that he will be on a special "journey" and his kids think it is awesome.
The reality star met less surprise than what he has expected when he told the family circle that he plans to transition and finally become a woman, People reported. Kris Jenner, the ex-wife, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West quickly rallied behind Jenner after telling his children that he is a transgender.
"Bruce told them everything, where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect," the family's spokesperson told the magazine. "Everyone, basically, knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly," the insider added.
Kardashian has made sure that her mother, who has finalized divorce with the ex-Olympian after more than two decades of marriage, gave her approval of the news first before focusing her attention to Jenner.
"Kim checked on Kris and made sure that she felt fine. The family had a long conversation regarding the matter. When Kim was sure that Kris was okay emotionally, she gave Bruce the unconditional support he deserves," the source added.
Meanwhile, Esther Jenner, the mother, said that she could not be prouder of her son, the Radar Online reported earlier today. On the other hand, the Kardashian "Playboy" model in an interview with the Entertainment Tonight said her stepfather was at his happiest she has ever seen him.
Jenner is in the final stage of negotiations with ABC and has started recording the series featuring his transition for E!
