Sega has just announced that the popular rhythm game 'Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X' will be coming to North America and South America on August 30. A game update will be released in the future to make it compatible with PlayStation VR.

The latest version of the popular rhythm game franchise from Japan will finally be coming to the Americas in the next few months. It will be launched on PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita, and unlike the Japanese edition, the PS4 version will not have HD in the title in its American release.

The rhythm game will also get a free update when the PlayStation VR will be launched for the first time. This game update will support a virtual reality feature of the game, which lets players take advantage of the Concert Editor's Live View mode. The PS4 version of the rhythm game will run in 1080p resolution at 60 FPS.

According to the game's official website, it will be $49.99 for the PlayStation 4 and $39.99 for the PlayStation Vita. The game is compatible with the PlayStation TV, but the Portrait Mode will not be available on that platform. Customers who will pre-order the game, and purchase it on launch day will get a special high quality microfiber pouch that is covered with different symbols featured in the game.

The game will once again center on Miku and her friends, and this time they will be exploring the five Clouds that make up their world. The rhythm game will have 30 songs and almost 300 costumes to unlock and choose from. Her team will be tasked to fulfill certain requests from different individuals, and they will also beat challenges in the different areas that they will be exploring.

The game company has confirmed in a statement that there is no official announcement of a European release for the game. Fortunately, the PS4 and PS Vita versions of the rhythm game are region free, which means it is compatible with accounts in different regions. European fans can just import the game from North America or Japan.
