"Supernatural" Season 11 episode 21 airs on May 11, Wednesday. The upcoming segment is titled "All in the Family" and it happens to be the penultimate instalment. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) continue to fight their darkest enemy ever, The Darkness/ Amara. In episode 20 (yet to be aired), Chuck Shurley returns. At the same time, Amara continues to wreak havoc in the world. In an attempt to destroy the world, she covers a small town in a mysterious fog that drives people crazy. Sam and Dean find out that the fog might contain a stronger version of original black vein virus.
The network has released synopsis for the final few episodes of "Supernatural" Season 11 and it suggests that it delves deeper into the season's main story arc involving The Darkness. In no time, Sam and Dean will go head-to-head with Amara.
According to the synopsis for "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 21 "All in the Family" (via Spoilersguide.com), Amara captures Lucifer and makes him the victim of her fury. She shows Dean how far she can go to inflict pain and agony on Lucifer.
Meanwhile, Sam and Dean's concern for Castiel grows. Looking at him suffering, the Winchester brothers come up with a plan to save Castiel from Amara.
Note: A promo video for "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 21 is yet to be released. It will be made available as soon as it is out. The trailer is expected to be unveiled after the broadcast of episode 20 "Don't Call Me Shurley" on May 4.
