Title track "Dream Girls" is not a blind pick

In the second episode of reality program "Standby IOI," it was revealed that the girls "blind picked" "Dream Girls" to be their title track and will be used for their promotions. However, according to Soompi, it was revealed that the composer of the title track, who wrote the song under the pseudonym FAMOUSBRO, is actually Eru.

Eru is Tae Jin Ah's second son and also an artist under YMC Entertainment, which is handling I.O.I. The girls received incredible support from different songwriters for their debut.

Jung Chaeyeon is the center

In the music video or "Dream Girls," MBK trainee Jung Chaeyeon stands in the center of the chorus, which is sang by all of the girls. This left a bad impression to Jeon Somi's fans and "Produce 101" viewers.

It was decided in the final ranking that whoever ranked first will be the center of the group. Somi was voted first place, but marketed as the maknae of the group. Jung Chaeyeon is dubbed as the "visual of all visuals" because of her incredible beauty. This sparked unfairness to other members who ranked higher.

Main vocals has lesser parts

It seems that I.O.I did not make use of its powerhouse vocals and play it with popularity. Other fans are upset that main vocalists Sejeong and Yeunjung seem to have almost no lines in the title track.

Fans want Kim Sohye to drop out

It was a big surprise when Redline trainee Kim Sohye joined the final lineup for I.O.I. However, not all fans are happy with this and some fans want Kim Sohye to be replaced by either Park Soyeon or Han Hyeri.
