Microsoft added to Xbox One backward compatibility on May 4, Wednesday, two new Stars Wars games. The company joined the world to celebrate the "May the Fourth be with you," a sounds-alike of the famous saying, "May the Force be with you" in the 2015 hit "Star Wars:  Episode VII the Force Awakens."

Gamers can now play "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" 1 and 2 on Xbox One through the backward compatibility. Those who own the digital games can download and play them on the newer console sans the hassle. Consumers with retail disc version just need to pop it into their consoles and download the game from the Xbox Live Store, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

The Force Unleashed Star Wars game and its sequel are two fan favorites, thanks to their interesting titles associated with the "force." The overall reception for the games was mixed considering several intriguing elements, with the second game suffering less positive reception. However, both are still unique entries to the Star Wars sphere and Microsoft believes it would be great for gamers who are Star Wars fanatics to play them on Xbox One.

Also celebrating "May the Fourth be with you" was Amazon, which is offering several Star Wars movies, comics, games and toys, including discounted Disney Infinity figures and a remote control BB-8 in the hourly new lighting deals. It has the lowest price around for the most recent movie - a Blu-ray DVD and a copy of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" for only $17, that is $3 lower than everywhere else, IGN reported.

Retailers had sweet Xbox One deals, with Dell offering the most credit. One can pick from Dell's four different Xbox One bundles, each coming with $100 store credit.

Microsoft Store offers any Xbox One bundle, including the rarely discounted Xbox One Elite with Elite Controller. The purchaser gets $50 store credit, "Star Wars: Battlefront" and another game of his choice - "The Crew," "Watch Dogs," "Assassin's Creed: Unity" and "Just Dance 2016."

Amazon has Xbox One 1TB console and the Xbox One 500GB white console special edition Quantum Break bundle. Both come with "Forza Horizon 2," "Halo 5" limited edition and a $50 gift card.
